Hi! I'm Jessica, L.A.-born and based, a food writer and a passionate Italophile with decades of experience traveling in Italy. I have lived in both Italy and France and speak Italian and French. I can help you plan any itinerary in Italy, but I am super excited to share my knowledge about Southern Italy, an area rich in food, natural beauty, and warm and friendly people.
In addition to planning your itinerary, I advise on cultural, linguistic and logistical issues around travel in Sicily, Calabria, Puglia and the Basilicata. A vacation to any region of Italy is not complete without exploring its unique food culture. I am here to help everyone from carnivores and pescatarians to vegans and vegetarians know what to try and what to avoid (one example: lard is often a hidden ingredient in many southern pastries!)
Advice that I will provide:

*activities (i.e. pasta-making classes, wine or olive oil tastings, hiking and outdoors)
